How to Master Your Next Interview These days, interviews are happening constantly, whether it be a job or college admission. Here are a few tricks to master your next interview. Research the company (or school) you are interviewing with. There wont be a quiz, but background knowledge is key to a successful interview. Is the company family owned? Is it named after an important figurehead? Knowing these questions will allow you to tailor your responses to what the company wants to hear, making you the best candidate for the position. Arrive 30 minutes early. Giving yourself wiggle room for traffic, car trouble, or oversleeping is incredibly helpful. Life can be unpredictable, so plan accordingly. Practice your responses. You may feel silly standing in front of a mirror answering questions to yourself, but practice makes perfect. There are common questions that are asked in interviews, so creating responses to each will make you more prepared. Also, make sure to study your posture and body language, as actions speak louder than words.Overall, the most important way to master an interview is to relax and be yourself.
